I brushed off an electrician’s advances and then he left a creepy note in my sofa asking to ‘have some fun’ – but my husband’s reaction left him red-faced

Date:

A woman criticized an electrician for approaching her with a creepy note asking if she would like to “have a little fun” even after learning she was married.

Maceon McCracken, 28, of North Carolina, went viral on TikTok earlier this week when she posted a TikTok about the awkward exchange.

The social media star, who has nearly 65,000 followers, explained how the electrician was making her uncomfortable while helping out at her husband Colton’s furniture store in Concord.

When the worker arrived to install ceiling fans in his showroom, Maceon asked him to help remove some of the furniture.

In response, he told her: ‘I prefer to follow your instructions anyway.’

Although she thought this comment was ‘weird’, Maceon decided to brush it off and returned to her husband’s office.

Later, the worker walked through the office to wash his hands and felt compelled to tell Maceon that he thought she was ‘beautiful’.

She claims he told her, “It broke my heart when they told me you were married, but that doesn’t bother me, and if you ever want to hang out, just let me know.”

After making this inappropriate comment, the electrician told Maceon that he had left a secret note for him on one of the sofas that had been moved.

Looking back, Maceon said she was “caught so off guard” that she didn’t know how to respond to him.

At the time, the electrician was about halfway through his job, so he didn’t want to raise it as a problem initially.

But when her husband mentioned that he wanted to go out for lunch, Maceon told him that she did not feel comfortable being alone in the store with the worker.

After telling him what happened, the social media star waited for the electrician to leave before digging up the note.

It read, ‘I’m not trying to get you in trouble, but you’re absolutely gorgeous even though you’re married. If you ever want to have fun or something, I’d love to.

‘PS, if not, just look at this note. You are beautiful and the perfect example of what I think is awesome.

in a follow-up videoMaceon explained how her husband later confronted the electrician, who denied knowing he was reaching out to his boss’s wife, about the note.

She said: “Colton was like, ‘this isn’t right and he needs to know.’

Maceon’s husband handed the note back to the electrician and told him that he ‘could keep it’.

The worker allegedly responded: ‘Is that your wife? Very sorry.’

Colton told him, ‘No more leaving notes for my wife on my couches.’

Since it was uploaded on Sunday, Maceon’s video has amassed more than 4.7 million views, with most viewers left horrified by his behavior.

She captioned the post: “I am constantly amazed at the courage and audacity some men have.”

One joked: “You accidentally activated his hero instinct by asking him to help you move the furniture.”

Disagreeing with the spelling, another added: “”Just consider” instead of “ignore!”

“Her spelling is a red flag on its own,” said a third.

“I bet your boss would like to know about this behavior,” wrote a fourth.

Meanwhile, a fifth quipped: “If he was shocked by something he did, it means he’s a bad electrician.”
