A man bought an abandoned storage unit worth $410 at auction and discovered it contained $70,000 worth of designer clothing.
Wade Venture, 37, of Portland, Oregon, bought the storage unit at auction with no idea what it contained.
The treasure trove contained more than 400 pairs of footwear, including brands such as Gucci and Coach.
On top of that, the content creator found $8,000 worth of fur coats and other items still with the tags on.
Wade, who shares his finds online @wadesventures, estimated the loot was worth around $70,000 in total.

He has begun reselling items, and one coat sold secondhand for $1,500.
He said: “It is rare to find a unit like that in particular, often household items or rubbish are found.”
“More than likely she had a shopping problem; people speculated that perhaps she was hiding it from her husband.”
Wade purchased the unit on March 27 for $410 and only saw a few photos taken of the unit’s entrance, so he didn’t know exactly what to expect.
Having purchased between 400 and 500 units in the past, much of the contents of which were donated to charity, he said little surprises him.
But he said despite his experience, this took him by surprise.
He said: “People think I’ve been doing this for so long that I’ve seen it all, but I’ve never come across a unit like this before.”

Wade believes the previous owner may have had a shopping addiction and was perhaps hiding the designer items from her husband.

‘Normally I find things that are 30 percent new and 70 percent used, but this was all new.
‘It was an incredible experience, I was very shocked. Units like this are truly rare and special.
“I wasn’t just buying run-of-the-mill stuff, I was shopping at Macy’s and JCPenney.”
Due to the abandonment of storage units, it is rare to know anything about their previous owner.
Wade added: “There were expensive Gucci shoes and purchases; it could be that I didn’t have the money.”
Or he could have died. Another common problem is that they move to a different state.”
