A woman obsessed with the color orange has given a sneak peek into her colored existence.
Sheri Scott, 37, from Glasgow, loves orange so much that she wears shades of it every day without fail.
But that’s still not enough for Sheri, who also dyed her hair orange and decorated her apartment with color.
The 37-year-old has loved this shade for as long as she can remember because it’s “bright and colorful.”
When she was 21, Sheri dyed her blonde hair bright ginger, but dyed it again two weeks later because it still wasn’t “orange enough.”

The 37-year-old’s wardrobe is full of orange clothing, including jeans, blouses and dresses.
Sheri moved into her two-bedroom apartment in February 2020, which she filled with orange-hued home items. She has orange walls, sofas, cabinets, radiators and drawers.
Sheri, a business strategist and content creator, said: “My entire wardrobe is completely orange.
‘I have always been inspired by cartoons: their bright colours, shapes and textures. It has always been something that has attracted me.
‘One of my biggest inspirations for my style is cartoons, so when I imagine myself or imagine myself in my head, it’s usually in cartoon form.
“I call my wardrobe the orange womb because they always say if you’re creating space in your closet then it needs to be a neutral so you can dress appropriately, so my neutral is orange.”
Her love for the bright hue is nothing new, and Sheri has loved the color orange for as long as she can remember.
She said: “Cartoons have always been a huge inspiration to me, whether aesthetically or personally, and it’s something I can relate to.”
The 37-year-old has loved this color for as long as he can remember because it’s “bright and colorful.”
In addition to her orange-themed wardrobe, Sheri has decorated her Glasgow flat with orange furniture.
In addition to her orange closet, drawers, pillows, and radiator, Sheri also bought an orange couch.
While Sheri is still in the process of decorating her apartment, she has managed to add pops of orange to the space.
He continued: “I love the energy of Miss Piggy, Inspector Gadget, Gonzo Style and Scooby Doo.”
The cartoon lover explained that her bond with animations was formed because they are happy and entertaining. And she added: “I feel like cartoons bring a sense of fun.”
Sheri believes wardrobes should be fun and therefore loves “dopamine dressing” – wearing colorful clothes to lift the mood.
Consequently, her wardrobe is full of orange socks, t-shirts, pants and dresses.
She said: “I don’t have a single black item in my wardrobe and I’ve had a black dress but it had lime details.”
Wearing black is so strange for Sheri that if she does, she feels uncomfortable. “If I wear black, I feel like an imposter,” she said.
At the age of 21, Sheri dyed her blonde hair to be bright red, but then dyed it again because it wasn’t “orange enough.”
The content creator rarely wears black, adding that she feels like an ‘imposter’ in the dark shade.
Sheri explained that her orange clothing is a form of self-expression, which makes it “really important” to her.
The 37-year-old also loves dressing her two dogs (pictured) in brightly colored clothing.
The content creator is a fan of “dopamine dressing” – wearing colorful clothes to boost your mood.
Sheri continued, “I feel like it’s really important to me how I feel in my clothes and how I’ve carried myself into the world, it’s really important my self-expression.”

After moving into her apartment in February 2020, Sheri is still working on transforming the house into her orange oasis.
Sheri said: “It brings me a lot of joy, it’s really self-expression.”
“I can’t draw and I’m not a musician, so it’s the way I can express myself and just enjoy the art of playing.”
While Sheri is working on adding more orange to her house, she currently has several orange items, including a radiator, closet, couch, and drawers.
This comes after a woman, who has dedicated her entire life to the color green, revealed a vision of her home, in which everything shines in emerald, jade and lime.
Elizabeth Sweetheart, 83, from New York, joined Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle on This Morning to talk about her passion for colour.
Elizabeth, nicknamed The Green Lady of Brooklyn, explained how her three-decade obsession began saying that the color simply makes her feel “happy.”
The artist said: “I think it’s because I love color, I’ve used many colors throughout my life and green seems to be the happiest, it makes everyone happy and it’s easy to live with.”
The retiree, who has more than 400,000 followers on Instagram, added that her life is now “naturally green” after years of living in the color.
In a video clip, which toured her kitchen, Elizabeth had a green rug, chairs, clay, pots, utensils, cutting boards and saucepans.
The artist added: “I wake up in the morning and it’s very happy and pleasant, I make my coffee in a green coffee maker, my grinder is green, it’s just a green world.”
Talking about how his obsession with color progressed over 25 years and wasn’t “a deliberate choice.”
Elizabeth said: “It just happened over 25 years ago, I don’t think even my partner knew my life was really green until it was, it just kept going.”
She stated that her partner Robert likes it because they meet interesting people thanks to their love of green.
She said: “People are wonderful, when they see me they smile, they are happy and they love taking photos, they take selfies and we hug, it’s very positive.”
