Zara Tindall and her husband Mike put on another loved-up display as they arrived at Cheltenham Racecourse this afternoon for the final day of the festival.

The rider, 42, and the rugby ace are known to enjoy a public smooch while on the road – and when the sun came out on the final day of the 2024 festival, they made no exception.

They were joined by Princess Anne, who was regal in red as she arrived in a ruby coat.

The Princess Royal, 73, beamed in her outfit accompanied by a Cossack-style hat, which was adorned with a gold brooch, as she entered the grounds with Ian Renton.

Former rider Anne, who along with her daughter Zara is known to love horse racing, has attended every day of the Cheltenham Festival so far this year.

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi, and Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have also appeared at the festival.

Arriving today, Zara and Mike put on a typically stylish display with the former rugby ace wearing a three-piece tweed suit and tie.

Meanwhile, Zara opted for a dark green structured collared coat, brown suede knee high boots and a brown fascinator.

For the first time this festival, when the sun finally came out, Zara was able to don a pair of cool turtleneck shades.

As Princess Anne attends the festival, she has also been accompanied by her new lady-in-waiting, Dolly Maude, 51.

Dolly famously helped deliver Zara’s third child Lucas on a bathroom floor when her birth plan went awry in 2021.

Cheltenham’s final day will undoubtedly be as action-packed as the rest of the festival, in a year where old traditions were rejected in favor of new ideas.

For example, the famous Ladies Day, which always takes place on the second day of the festival, has been replaced with ‘Style Wednesday’.

On the Jockey Club’s website, ‘Style Wednesday’ is billed as ‘fast horses, slow fashion. The style is timeless and the glamor matches the glory.’

Explaining the Slow Fashion awards, it adds that the event will ‘celebrate vintage and borrowed items, as well as investment pieces that can be passed down through the generations.

‘We encourage all racegoers to show off their unique and personal style and share the stories behind their amazing outfits with friends, family and on social media.

‘The awards are open to both men and women and we can’t wait to see the incredible fashion on display!’
