A frequent flyer has revealed that she enthusiastically swaps seats with other passengers – and it often gets her a better seat.
Talia Lakritz often flies solo and has revealed that she is always willing to swap seats with other passengers on a trip.
Her confession comes after the subject of airplane etiquette – specifically, the debate surrounding seat changes – came to a head when a pharmacist revealed she was refusing to give up her seat so that a mother and her teenager can sit together during the journey.
However, the New York-based traveler said she was completely on the opposite end of the spectrum as she was still hoping another passenger would ask her to swap seats.

Talia explained that when she was traveling she saw a couple going in separate rows.
She noted that one of them was sitting next to her, so she offered to switch so the lovebirds could sit together.
Talia said her offer not only put her in the good books of her fellow travelers, but also landed her a better seat.
She was seated in a middle seat, but after changing she was able to get comfortable in an aisle seat.
“I marked an exit row because the flight crew needed more volunteers or seats closer to the front of the plane because a family wanted to sit together,” said the great traveller.
She explained that although airline seat etiquette has become a hot topic, she doesn’t mind swapping seats if she’s traveling alone and the flight isn’t too long.
However, Talia noted that if she had paid for a seat, she would not offer to change.

She told the outlet: “I would probably refuse to change if I paid extra for an aisle seat and someone asked me to go in the middle or at a window, but so far I haven’t didn’t have to.”
Talia’s confession comes just a week after a passenger was praised online after he refused to give up his first class seat to a woman who wanted to sit closer to her teenager.
TikTok creator and pharmacist Dr. Sabra racked up nearly 10 million views after sharing her elated reaction to the confrontation.

The refusal comes months after a man sparked a furious debate when he refused to give up his first-class seat to his boss, despite using his own credit card points to do so.
