A picture is worth a thousand words for a man who discovered that his wife “leads a double life.”
The 28-year-old man created a publication on Reddit yesterday after he found his 31-year-old wife’s secret Instagram account.
The anonymous man claimed it was full of mirror photos she took in her bedroom wearing lingerie he bought her.
He wrote that he and his wife of five years have been “a little disconnected,” but he didn’t know why.
His growing curiosity got the better of him and he decided to snoop through her phone while she was in the shower on April 16.

The man revealed in his Reddit post that he and his wife had been ‘a little disconnected’ for two months and he didn’t know why.
The man said he and his wife had been together for more than 10 years. They started dating when he was a freshman and she was a senior in high school.
“She was the most attractive girl in school… I couldn’t even believe she was giving me the time of day,” he wrote.
The two had just moved across the country so she could go to school and pursue a career.
The poster knew that spying on his phone was wrong, he felt obliged to do it once he believed that something suspicious was going to be on his social networks.
He discovered the private account along with three other people shortly after beginning to spy on his phone and social media.
According to the man, his wife’s private Instagram account was attached to a fake name.
“I opened it and lo and behold, there are photos posted of her that I have never seen before,” he wrote.
He claimed to have found 35 posts on the private account since December 2023, and each photo had more than 80 likes.
Because of her 1,200 followers, the shocked husband wondered if his wife was “cross-posting on another platform.”
He decided to continue snooping around Instagram and mustered up the courage to check all of his wife’s direct messages to see if any of them were inappropriate.
He discovered that men were complimenting his wife’s appearance and sending her graphic photographs, to which she responded.
The OP’s heart started pounding while reading the DMs and he put his phone back on the table after he couldn’t stand being stared at anymore.
“I didn’t want my emotions to get the best of me when I told him about it, so I tried to sleep on it,” she wrote.
He began to wonder if his wife had ever met with a man who sent her a direct message and admitted that he had a history of overreacting.
The two planned their future together and had even tried to have a baby, but because of this, the husband decided to take action.
The 28-year-old confirmed in his Reddit post that he would try to talk to her about the account.
Reddit users have been supporting the man after what happened but many of them suggested in their comments that he divorce her.
He didn’t give many details about how the conversation went, but he did hint that his marriage is now in trouble.
The saddened but stern husband will return to his phone to try to take screenshots of his private account.
Once he’s done spying, he’ll contact a lawyer and it’s still crazy for him to think about.
Reddit users have been supporting the man in the comments section and one person even called his wife “a piece of shit.”
Many users wrote advice about what they think the man should do in this situation.
“It’s time to make preparations and talk to a lawyer,” one person wrote.
“Send me some screenshots if you can, and if you can, I’ll avoid telling you as much as possible.”
One commenter who claimed to be a woman wrote that based on the situation, it seems like the man’s wife doesn’t respect him.
He added: “If a woman doesn’t respect her partner, then that relationship is practically ruined.”
