A man is fighting for his life after being allegedly stabbed on a train.
Victoria Police are investigating an incident on a train travelling to Huntingdale train station in Melbourne’s south-east at about 6.45pm on Thursday.
A group of four men are understood to have had an argument with other people on the train when one of the passengers was assaulted.
The man suffered lacerations to his upper body and was rushed to hospital.
He remains in critical condition, according to the report. Herald of the Sun reports.

The four men on the train are believed to have fled the scene on foot.
It is understood that a number of train services were cancelled following the alleged stabbing attack due to a “police request” in the Huntingdale area.
Metro Trains has announced that there have been significant delays on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines, with buses replacing trains between Caulfield and Westall.
Police have asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
