In late 2018, Hunter Biden withdrew $20,000 from his daughter Maisy’s college savings to help fund a months-long drug and prostitute binge, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Hunter’s third daughter Maisy was in her senior year of high school when he withdrew the funds. She and her sisters, along with Joe Biden and First Lady Jill, had tried to stage an intervention a few weeks earlier at the president’s home in Delaware to urge Hunter to return to rehab.

He promised to go, but ended up smoking crack in a hotel, he confessed in his 2021 memoir, Beautiful Things.

Hunter’s assistant, Katie Dodge, sent him a plaintive email on December 28 of that year informing him that he had $27,945 in tuition at the University of Pennsylvania (presumably for his daughter eldest, Naomi), a payment of $1,700 for her Porsche, $4,244.70 for Maisy’s Sidwell Friends High School, her $3,000. paycheck and $1,000 for another employee.
Hunter tersely told Dodge to pay for the Porsche and her health insurance, but that she would only receive half of his salary – and that he would “take care of the tuition when the time comes.”
He added: “If you haven’t noticed, Katie, my business partner is now a prisoner on death row in China,” referring to the chairman of Chinese government-linked oil giant CEFC, Ye Jianming, who had was arrested for corruption in Beijing that year.
Maisy, like her sisters Naomi, 29, and Finnegan, 23, ended up attending the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied fine arts. She graduated in May.

IRS Criminal Investigative Agent Joseph Ziegler conducted a tax investigation into the first son for five years before blowing the whistle on Congress, saying the investigation had been slow and blocked by top government officials.
In an affidavit released by the House Ways and Means Committee last month, Ziegler revealed that Hunter ended up plundering Maisy’s entire college tuition savings to fund his lavish spending, and that he had not paid taxes on this amount.
Hunter “failed to report income related to a distribution he took from one of his children’s 529 (college savings) plans in 2019, additional income of approximately $39,820,” the lawyer wrote. IRS agent.
“He also had personal distributions that he claimed as business deductions totaling approximately $12,791.
“To date, this alleged additional income of approximately $52,611 has not been reported to the IRS and the alleged additional taxes of approximately $22,860 have not been paid to the IRS,” wrote Ziegler in the affidavit dated August 2, 2023.
