Hundreds of security staff have been suspended from working at locations, including a popular AFL stadium, for allegations that they have obtained their licenses fraudulently.
About 400 guards have been suspended and include some crowd controllers who work at AFL-owned Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.
Risk Consulting and security company AIG Security has reportedly outsourced a number of the guards, whose customer base includes the location mentioned, as well as theater stages Palais Theater and Forum.
The guards are supposed to have used fraudulent documentation to obtain their security licenses, The age reported.

Some guards are deemed to be international visa visas and have no further credentials for accreditation.
To obtain the license, the wannabe guards must pass an accredited security course and provide a reference that they have known for at least a year.
They would have paid hundreds of dollars to a man to act as a referee and forge documents.
Victoria Police are supposed to work to locate the man – sources say he has fled the country.
A security insider said that the use of foreign workers who did not have a good understanding of English only meant complicated things once they were sent out in the field.

The state police have since sent suspension letters to guards who they think have obtained their driver's license in a fraudulent way.
In one letter, seen by The Age, the employee is told that his license has been suspended immediately.
