A guard of honor formed Wednesday around the hearse carrying murdered NYPD officer Wilbert Mora, while the 27-year-old was taken to a funeral home in preparation for his final goodbye.

Mora was gunned down in Harlem on Friday along with his colleague Jason Rivera, 22, who died at the scene.

Doctors fought to save Mora, but he was pronounced dead by NYU Langone staff on Tuesday.

Their killer, Lashawn McNeil, 47 — whose mother had called officers to her house to report that he was threatening her — was shot in the head by a third officer after shooting Mora and Rivera, and died on Monday.

Mora’s body left the city’s medical examiner’s office at Bellevue Hospital on Wednesday, with officers saluting along the way.

He was taken to the Riverdale Funeral Home in Inwood.

Mora’s relatives boarded a van outside their home in East Harlem to travel to the funeral home in Inwood.

They were met by Mayor Eric Adams, a former NYPD captain, and Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell.

The two city officials spoke to relatives for about 10 minutes, with Rivera’s relatives arriving later in the afternoon at the funeral home where his remains were also taken.

Rivera’s funeral will take place Monday at St Patrick’s Cathedral in downtown Manhattan.

Details about Mora’s service are yet to be published.

The two are the first officers to be shot dead in the city since July 2017.
