Hundreds of members attended a funeral commemorating the life of senior Bandidos president Peter Martin after his death in a motorcycle accident.
Up to 500 members attended the service held at the Port Macquarie Race Club on the Oxley Highway on the New South Wales mid north coast on Saturday.
The former Bandidos president, also known as Bandido George, was brought to the service in a motorcycle sidecar from the Hastings District Funeral Home.
Gates opened at 10am with a rush of colorful members lining up to pay their respects to the former president of the local Bandidos branch in western Sydney.
Due to their status, attendance at the service is mandatory for all Australian members.
Martin’s death in a horrific bicycle accident last month sparked great grief from family and friends, including his heartbroken sister.
“Rest in paradise, my brother,” he wrote alongside a photo of the former president wearing his Bandidos gear.
‘I know we didn’t always agree, but that would never change the fact that you are my brother and I love you. He wasn’t just wearing a patch, he was a brother, a father, a song, a friend and an uncle, his sister.’

Martin and a fellow Bandido were riding their Harley Davidsons when the bikes collided with a Mazda sedan on the Great Western Highway at Prospect, in Sydney’s west, on September 10.
The senior president could not be revived and died at the scene.
The other driver had to fight for his life, while the driver of the Mazda had to be freed from the vehicle and rushed to hospital.
Heartbreaking photos from the crash scene showed Bandidos marks on the front wheel of one of the mangled Harley Davidsons.
A regional Bandidos meeting will be held on Saturday at the wake, which is understood to be held at the home of Bandidos member Mitchell Sutton.
At the funeral procession, one of Mr. Martin’s young daughters paid tribute to her father right in front of his coffin, which had been propped up and decorated with flowers.
Members also parked one of Mr Martin’s prized Harley Davidson motorcycles next to the coffin as the process took place.
