Jamie Azzopardi suffered another embarrassing moment at Australian Fashion Week on Thursday when they were spotted watching the Verner show from the Carriageworks media pit in Sydney.

The controversial stylist, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, was confined to the area, which is usually reserved for photographers and journalists, instead of getting a seat at the event.

In a social media photo, Azzopardi can be seen squeezed into the back corner of the crowded media pit as they try to peer past photographers to see the runaway spectacle.

They kept their eyes hidden behind a pair of dark sunglasses as they stood behind other journalists and paparazzi taking content for their posts, while other official guests sat on either side of the catwalk.

Azzopardi stood out as they donned a sequined ballgown while the media around them wore casual, comfortable outfits while working.

The train of Azzopardi’s dress fell to the floor behind them and they kept accessories to a minimum with a simple gold necklace and a $379 Orange Cube bag.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Azzopardi for comment.

This comes as a surprise after the stylist claimed he was the ‘Boss of Fashion Week’ during a heated confrontation with model Paige Montana De Cinque at Melbourne Fashion Week in March.

De Cinque, 30, stopped by Melbourne’s popular Bar Bambi with friends and says Azzopardi shouted at her when she entered a private booth to greet a friend during the fashion week after-party.

In footage of the brutal confrontation, obtained by Daily Mail Australia, Azzopardi claimed that they are the “Boss of Fashion Week” despite not being on the organization’s board of directors.

De Cinque said Azzopardi first approached her and her friends to tell them to “move on” after they entered the stylist’s private booth.

The model said she didn’t know they had entered Azzopardi’s booth because “it wasn’t isolated, there was no security, no wristbands.”

Video of the incident showed Azzopardi approaching the DJ and saying: “This will end badly if [De Cinque and her friends] do not move. This will end badly.’

The DJ then responded with music blaring: “I don’t know who you are,” to which the stylist stated: “I’m Jamie.” I am the director of Fashion Week.

Meanwhile, Azzopardi caused another stir at AFW this week after the controversial influencer responded to critics when they arrived in an elaborate dress.

Flanked by an entourage of ‘caretakers’ carrying the train of her dress, Azzopardi made a scandalous arrival at Carriageworks in Sydney earlier this week.

Married At First Sight star Carolina Santos couldn’t resist commenting on the strange moment on social media.

‘What the fuck is that? Does Jamie think [they] Are they at the Met Gala or something? Why do people hold [their] clothes?’

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday night, Azzopardi responded to Carolina’s comment.

‘Carolina, I have a question because you have a lot to say about me: I just want to know, what do you know about the Met Gala?’

Azzopardi also had some stern words for fellow internet personality Suzan Mutesi, having previously accused her of faking her influence on social media.

“We all know I’m not a fan of Suzan Mutesi, but I hope for Suzan’s sake that she’s okay because honestly, she’s kidding herself.”

The pair have been embroiled in a feud for years after Azzopardi suggested Mutesi’s Instagram followers could be “fake”, and at an event in 2022, Azzopardi said they would like to “push her into the pool”.
