Humble Chelsea star N’Golo Kante lets lucky fan wear his Champions League winners’ medal after being given a custom home shirt with his name and jersey number
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been hailed by fans as one of the club’s heroes in their Champions League triumph – and now he’s made a supporters day by having them wear his winners’ medal.
He took time out for France’s Euro 2020 campaign and was photographed with the lucky fan after being given a tailored shirt modeled on Chelsea’s iconic dark blue strip.
In return, Kante got to meet the person who put together the top to snap photos, and the Blues fanatic couldn’t hide a big grin as he kissed the medal to round out the moment.

Kante had stolen the show in Portugal and was crucial to Chelsea’s success in the league
As any true Chelsea fan would do, he then planted a kiss on the gong, which Kante was handed after their win over Manchester City in Porto last month.
Often hailed as one of the most selfless professional athletes in the world, Kante lived up to his lofty reputation with the heartwarming gesture.
And his stunning career reached a new high at the Estadio do Dragao, with the Man of the Match award presented to him after a formidable and energetic performance.
The former Leicester man was crucial in Chelsea’s route to the showpiece after also stealing the show against Real Madrid in the two semi-final clashes.

But despite standing out in Portugal during the match, Kante hilariously needed some help to get noticed during the post-match celebrations.
Standing just 5’6, tiny Kante was barely visible as his teammates hoisted the trophy, although Kurt Zouma lent him a hand.
Centre-back Zouma, who had been an unused substitute for the match, lifted Kante into the air at the back of the group.

Former Chelsea forward Joe Cole worked as a pundit for BT Sport and was quick to praise the tough Kante lavishly.
“Kante is dizzying. I’m devastated watching him,” Cole said during the live coverage. “I played against him in one of my last matches.
“I was playing with (Claude) Makelele, who I thought was the best, until I saw this kid. He has Makelele plus extras.’
With Chelsea’s success in the showdown in Porto, Kante contributed to his already impressive trophies catch
Despite a difficult start to the season, Kante thrived under Thomas Tuchel at the heart of his midfield.
With the Champions League victory, Kante added the famous big-eared silverware to his loot, which already includes two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the Europa League and the World Cup.
He hopes to add another one to his collection at the European Championships this summer.
