Huma Abedin is engaged to George Soros’ son, Alex.
The 47-year-old Democratic member and the younger Soros, 38, got engaged six weeks ago and were recently seen celebrating in Italy, according to Page six.
“After many tumultuous years for Huma, she is relaxed, happy and in love,” a friend of Abedin told the outlet.
Abedin, a former deputy chief of staff to Hillary Clinton, was previously married to disgraced New York politician Anthony Weiner.
After confirming their romance on Instagram on Valentine’s Day, the couple attended the Met Gala together in May.

The couple has kept a low profile and has barely been seen in public.
In April, Page Six reported that they were sitting courtside to watch the Knicks take on the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Alex has been named heir to his father’s $25 billion empire.
The couple’s romance comes seven years after Huma divorced her ex-husband Anthony Weiner, who was embroiled in a series of high-profile scandals.
Weiner was caught on multiple occasions sending explicit photos to various women, including during his political campaigns.
But he did not learn from his mistakes and was later sentenced to 21 months in prison after he began sending sexual messages to a 15-year-old girl.
Huma went public with her billionaire boyfriend Alex Soros, who is almost 10 years her junior, in February.
Abedin, who had initially been supportive, eventually decided to pull the plug and they each went their separate ways.
The former couple share a son, Jordan, who was born in 2011.
Abedin was previously rumored to be dating Bradley Cooper for a brief stint in 2022; she reportedly arrived at the Met Gala that year with The Hangover star before splitting to keep her cover.
Huma is said to be close friends with Vogue editor Anna Wintour and has attended the exclusive event since 2016.
