Hulu is offering a 30 percent discount on live TV streaming, amid Disney and Spectrum cable disputes

Hulu has lowered the price of its live TV streaming service, giving cord cutters a rare discount on the Hulu + Live TV platform. Normally $69.99, you can now get Hulu + Live TV for just $49.99. That’s a 29 percent discount and the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the streaming bundle.

The new deal gives you access to more than 90 live TV channels plus Hulu’s entire library of on-demand television shows, movies and Hulu Originals. Subscribers also get access to Disney+ and ESPN+, included in the $49.99 price.

While Hulu offers new promos from time to time (e.g. for National Streaming Day), the latest deal comes after Disney’s ongoing transportation dispute with Spectrum Cable and parent company Charter Communications, which saw customers lose access to ABC, ESPN, FX. and Freeform on their television sets. Hulu is undoubtedly hoping to win over Charter customers with the new offering, as these channels are all part of the Hulu + Live TV plan’s channel lineup.

With the new Hulu deal, you get three months of Hulu + Live TV streaming for just $49.99 per month. From Oct. Starting September 12, the monthly price will increase to $76.99, so you’ll save almost $30 by locking in the discounted price now.
