Deborra-Lee Furness hosted the Global Citizen Live concert in New York on Saturday, while her husband Hugh Jackman took the lead at the same event in London.

And the 65-year-old certainly looked quirky cool as she formed a storm on the red carpet at the event, where dozens of acts performed worldwide to raise money for charity.

Sydney-born Deborra-Lee opted for a black branded T-shirt for the occasion, which she paired with leggings and shorts.

The mother of two completed the outfit with a pair of black lace-up shoes.

The star was later seen hosting the microphone.

Global Citizen Live is a 24-hour global event starting on September 25 to unite the world to defend the planet and defeat poverty.

It is co-hosted by Hugh Jackman in London and his wife Deborra-Lee in New York.

The concert will include performances by Kylie Minogue in London and Keith Urban in Las Vegas.

Cathy Freeman and Celeste Barber will also perform.

Delta Goodrem will be the only performer from Australia to perform to an empty audience at the Opera House due to the city’s ongoing lockdown.

Produced by the international advocacy group Global Citizen, the event was created to be viewed on a variety of networks and platforms to call for concerted action on vaccine equality, extreme poverty and climate change.

The organization’s global board members include senior executives from Cisco, Live Nation Entertainment, TED and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
