Hugh Jackman impressed fans in New York with his one-man show on Friday night.
The Wolverine actor, 56, gave an energetic performance on the first night of three shows he will perform over the weekend at Manhattan’s Radio City Music Hall.
Titled Hugh Jackman: From New York, With Love, the show features the beloved song-and-dance artist singing fan favorites from hit musicals like The Boy From Oz, The Greatest Showman and The Music Man.

He was also photographed sitting on a stool on stage, illuminated by soft spotlight.
According to the official synopsis on Radio City Music Hall’s website, Hugh’s one-man show is a “career retrospective” in which he performs songs from his most iconic roles.
It comes after he went public with his romance with former co-star Sutton Foster earlier this month.
Sutton, 49, shared a backstage secret the couple shared during their time appearing on the hit revival of The Music Man.
In a resurfaced interview on 2022’s Live With Kelly and Ryan, Sutton said she and the Australian actor engaged in an intimate pre-show ritual they dubbed the ‘carpet talk.’
She explained: ‘We hang out in my dressing room before every show and catch up.
“Somehow we ended up sitting down, maybe because my dressing room is messy, but we sat on the carpet.”

He said this private moment was “a wonderful thing” that brought them closer and helped make them “very good friends.”
“That’s been one of the best parts of all of this: I’ve made this wonderful new friend,” Sutton said.
The glamorous couple starred together in The Music Man on Broadway from December 2021 to January 2023.
Rumors soon emerged that the pair had struck up a romance, with fans wondering what was behind Hugh’s shock at splitting from his long-time wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.
The couple was seen kissing next to their car at an In-N-Out burger restaurant in San Fernando, Los Angeles.
Hugh, who separated from his wife of 27 years, Deborra-lee, in September 2023, hugged Sutton as she caressed his face.
Their exit comes after the Logan star attended a screening of Sutton’s production of Once Upon A Mattress in Los Angeles and the pair were seen holding hands on a date in Santa Monica.
Sutton filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband Ted Griffin in October last year.
She was married to the 53-year-old Ocean’s 11 screenwriter for 10 years.
