Hugh Jackman currently resides in London while filming his new film, Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie.
And according New IdeaThe 55-year-old Hollywood star could make the decision permanent.
“She wants to be closer to her mother and sister, who live there, and possibly find love again,” a source told the publication.
The source said Jackman, who has dual British and Australian citizenship, plans to focus more on charitable initiatives with someone by his side.
“He really wants to find someone who can help him make the world a better place and put the goodwill he’s earned after 25 years in Hollywood to work for something more than just his personal stardom,” the source said.
“He is committed to expanding outside of his entertainment industry bubble to find someone he can spend the rest of his life with and who can help him put his fortune to good use around the world,” they continued.
Born in Sydney to British parents, the Oscar-nominated actor spent a gap year in 1987 working in the UK as a physical education teacher.
In 1998 he played Curly in the Royal National Theatre’s production of Oklahoma! in London’s West End.

Last year, Hugh announced that he had separated from his wife Deborra-Lee after 27 years of marriage.
The former couple revealed to their fans that they had separated “to pursue our individual growth.”
“We have been blessed to share nearly three decades together in a wonderful and loving marriage. Our path is now changing and we have decided to separate in order to continue growing as individuals,” the couple said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
According to New Idea, the Hollywood star, 55, could make the move permanent.
‘Our family has been and always will be our top priority. We face this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition.’
The former couple signed the statement as ‘Deb and Hugh Jackman’ and added: ‘This is the only statement any of us will make.’
The couple married in 1996 after crossing paths on the set of Correlli in 1995.
During the course of their marriage, they adopted two children: son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
