Hugh Grant joked that he missed the good old days when actors would fall in love with each other and hook up with their co-stars.
The British actor, 62, said that instead of flirting and drinking together, the co-stars now go home and “look on Twitter” after a long day.
Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he said, “Movies are so weird now.
They are strange because in the old days, by the end of the second week, you all got drunk in the evening, had dinner, fell in love with each other and all that.
It all stopped because of the phones. Everyone goes home and looks at Twitter. This sad.’
Grant has been gracing the big screen as the leading man in movies since the ’90s – he’s starred in a number of romantic films, including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Love Actually.
