Nintendo is holding its second Direct showcase event of the year and it sounds like it’s going to be a big one. In February, the company showed itself Tears of the Kingdomreleased a remastered Metroid primeadded Game Boy games to Switch Online and gave us a release date Picmin 4. This time around, the focus is on Switch games coming out in the rest of 2023.
That includes the following pikmin, launching in July, but it’s also likely we’ll see what big game or games Nintendo has in store for the ever-important holiday season. At the moment, the only major release on the calendar is the first expansion for Pokémon Violet And Scarlet, which will be released in the fall. The Nintendo Direct showcase is expected to run for about 40 minutes, which is plenty of time to wrap up some big reveals.
The virtual event kicks off June 21 at 7am PT / 10am ET. It will stream on Youtube.
