A nutrition consultant has shared how she makes Hungry Jacks Whoppers guilt-free using budget shopping from Aldi.

Brisbane’s Bec Hardgrave uses eight ingredients to make perfect “fake” snacks that only have 360 calories per serving.

The nutritionist’s philosophy is that it is not necessary to follow a bland diet of chicken and broccoli if you want to eat healthy and lose weight.

Bec has previously shared her expert recipes for other fast food alternatives, including McDonald’s McChicken burgers and Nando’s popular chicken and chips.

First went to Aldi to pick up the ingredients: brioche buns, 120g five-star minced meat, 30g sliced tomato, 30g sliced gherkins, 20g red onion, shredded iceberg lettuce ($1.99) ), low-sugar tomato sauce ($1.39) and light mayonnaise ($2.59).

“They are so easy to make,” Bec shared in a video.

“I start by rolling the ground beef into balls, seasoning it with salt and pepper, and pressing it into patties in a pan.”

Once the meat is cooked, Bec begins to prepare her meal.

Place the burger, ketchup, sliced pickles, onion, tomato and lettuce on one slice, leaving only light mayonnaise on the other bun.

Each burger has only 360 calories and contains 35 grams of protein, 9.2 grams of fat and 40 grams of carbohydrates.
