Foodies have gone wild over the announcement of a new collaboration between two iconic chocolate bites.

KitKat is set to launch a Milkybar-flavored flavor that will hit supermarket shelves in the coming weeks.

Milkybar KitKat will be available in three different forms: a bar, a block, and a shared pack.

The bars will be sold in 7-Eleven stores starting next month, while the block and share package will launch in supermarkets in May.

Aussies have been sharing their excitement about the release online saying they can’t wait for the month to try out the nostalgic pairing.

The crispy wafer fingers have been covered in delicious milk white chocolate that combines the crunchy snap of KitKat with the creamy goodness of Milkybar.

7-Eleven customers will be able to get their hands on the KitKat Milkybar Bar for $2 in April.

On May 3, the $5.50 KitKit Milkybar block will launch at convenience retailers and major supermarkets, while the share pack will be available exclusively at Coles.

News of the tasty collaboration is making the rounds online and generating excited responses from enthusiastic foodies.

‘I’ll have a semi load,’ one woman said and another said, ‘No way, my two favorite things are Milkybar and KitKat, HOW.’

“I’m trying to lose KitKat weight,” a third quipped.

“May is so far away,” a fourth complained.

‘I need this! This might be the closest thing to the Milkybar cookie we used to buy many years ago as one user recalled.

However, some are speculating whether the new flavor will live up to the hype.

‘Though the white block of Kit Kat is already delicious!’ someone wrote

Couldn’t it be better than KitKat Gold?!! I may have to test it to be sure,” he said for a second.
