To obtain a free handmade coffee, from July 6 to July 31, customers only need to claim the offer through the Costa Coffee Club mobile app.

“To ensure that both our customers and team members are safe, we have introduced a number of new measures across our estate, while also maintaining the warm environment we know is missing.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone through our doors to enjoy their favorite Costa Coffee drink.”

Costa’s promotion comes as another high-street coffee giant, Pret a Manger, said it would clear 30 stores that would put 1,000 jobs at risk.

The coffee chain aims to ‘reduce the workforce in the remaining UK stores due to lower visitor numbers, rental costs and new security measures’.
