Jenna Ortega shows off her sartorial splendor while promoting her film ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’.
On Thursday, August 28, the young star stepped onto the carpet at the 81st Venice International Film Festival looking glamorously demure.
Jenna wore a couture red tulle gown, accented with matching makeup and a stunning updo by Bobby Eliot.
While an all-red makeup look is a bold choice for most, the hairstyle Bobby created using Rihanna’s Fenty line is timeless and beautiful to wear every day.
The pro, known for creating styles for Amanda Seyfried, Gracie Abrams, Julia Garner and more, shares every step of the process.

“Jenna is wearing a custom Dior dress and we wanted the hairstyle to be spontaneous,” Bobby said.
‘We decided to wear our hair in a low, loose, deconstructed bun.’
With her hair pulled back and off her shoulders, the intricate heart-shaped bodice of Jenna’s gown took center stage.
Like her Bois de Rose necklace, her bracelet and her rings in white gold, rose gold and diamonds from Dior Joaillerie.
STEP 1:
Bobby prepped his hair with Fenty Hair The Protective Type 5-in-1 Heat Protectant.
Avoiding the roots, she sprayed the product on sections to protect, moisturize, soften, detangle and untangle Jenna’s hair.
STEP 2:
Bobby then used a round brush to blow dry her hair to achieve maximum shine and lift her roots.
She then used a flat iron to create texture and give the hair a modern, carefree look.
In Venice, beautiful little Jenna sported an updo designed by Bobby Eliot.
“Jenna is wearing a custom Dior dress and we wanted the hairstyle to be spontaneous,” Bobby said. “We decided to wear her hair in a low, loose, deconstructed bun.”
STEP 3:
As the film’s lead actress, it’s Jenna’s time to shine, which means every hair has to look perfect.
To control the flyaways around his face, Bobby added product to his hairline.
Using her hands to warm up Fenty Hair The Controlling Type Hair-Thickening Edge Control Gel ($18) flattened all the pesky flyaways.
The repair gel fixes, smoothes and holds hair in place all day without flaking.
STEP 4:
Every formal event suggests an elegant updo, but those that look perfectly imperfect are the ones that are currently trending in fashion.
To achieve this, Bobby gathered Jenna’s hair up and pulled loose strands out of the bun to give her hair a messy look.
She wore long, layered bangs parted in the middle, framing her face.
To complement her red tulle Dior Haute Couture gown, Jenna wore a Bois de Rose necklace, bracelet and rings in white gold, rose gold and diamonds by Dior Joaillerie.

STEP 5:
To tame flyaways and finish the look, Bobby used Fenty Hair’s The Side Stick 3-in-1 Edge Styling Tool.
The romantic hairstyle contrasts perfectly with the bold makeup look created by Melanie Inglessis with Dior Beauty.
Melanie used red and purple shadows above and below Jenna’s eyes to create a non-traditional smoky eye look.
And a touch of blush on the apples of your cheeks.
A swipe of Rouge Dior 999 lipstick completed the exciting ensemble.
