Theo James’ wife Ruth Kearney received an outpouring of support last month when her husband took part in a very steamy photo shoot with another woman.
The 39-year-old White Lotus star was filming an advert for Dolce and Gabbana in which he was seen stripping down to a skimpy white swimsuit and shares a passionate kiss with bikini model Vittoria Ceretti.
The images sparked an outpouring of sympathy, with fans joking that Ruth must be “stronger than Superman” to endure seeing her husband in such a swashbuckling embrace with another woman.
However, Ruth and Theo proved there were no issues with the shoot as they were spotted enjoying a day trip to a garden centre on Monday.
The couple, who have been together for almost two decades, looked in good spirits as they enjoyed some quality time in the UK following Theo’s trip to Capri for filming.

Theo and Ruth have also worked together in the past, appearing in the first season of the ITV/PBS series Sanditon, based on the Jane Austen novel.
While Ruth has appeared in several television shows, she has no interest in achieving the Hollywood status that Theo has earned through his roles in The White Lotus and the Divergent films.
In 2016 she told the Irish Mirror: ‘I’m not in this industry to become famous; I’m not looking for jobs that will make me famous.
‘I hope they take me to more interesting roles.’
In an interview with ISSUE magazine, Ruth added: “It’s a tough career, but I feel like I can’t imagine doing anything else. It can be a lot of fun (but also) very challenging.”
