Marcus Jordan’s ‘wild, non-stop partying’ and drug use were the cause of his split from Larsa Pippen, close friends have said.
Sources close to the reality TV star revealed she ended her tumultuous two-year romance with the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan because he “lied to her every day” about his drug use.
Now the tattooed 33-year-old has been pictured apparently snorting white powder while on holiday in the South of France with his new busty ‘girlfriend’ Ashley Stevenson, in full view of hotel guests.
Damning paparazzi footage shows the former college basketball star lifting a metal instrument laden with a mysterious substance to his nose and sniffing it while enjoying a poolside lunch at the luxurious Tiara Miramar Beach Hotel & Spa on the French Riviera this week.
Larsa Pippen’s ex Marcus Jordan, 33, was seen apparently ingesting the mystery powder at a crowded table, using a metal instrument to inhale the substance, while on holiday in the south of France earlier this week.
Sources close to the 50-year-old reality TV star claim she broke off their two-year romance because Marcus “lied to her every day” about his drug use.
His date, dressed in a blonde bikini, smiled and chatted next to him, while their friends ate lunch across the table.
Marcus then smiled broadly as he chatted animatedly with his companions.
Larsa, 50, who was previously married to NBA star Scottie Pippen, is said to have dumped Jordan after his rebellious behaviour became too much for her.
“She can’t waste her energy on someone who takes drugs,” said a source close to the mother of five.
‘Her ex-husband was a professional athlete and she is committed to leading a healthy lifestyle.
‘Larsa ended up not answering his phone calls because he was partying day and night and called her when he was feeling bad.’
A friend said: “He had been hiding this lifestyle for a while and used to lie to her about it every day,” the source said.
‘He is unemployed and has been living a life of luxury despite not earning a living.
“When Larsa saw these photos, she thought ‘what a sad situation’ and couldn’t believe he would do this in full view of all the hotel guests,” the source added.
The exes are reportedly no longer friends and stopped communicating after they rekindled their romance in April, but called it off in late May, just months after Marcus’ famous father admitted he didn’t approve of their romance.
Sources close to Marcus told DailyMail.com: ‘Marcus and Larsa grew apart due to the pressure placed on him to conform to a lifestyle he never wanted to be a part of, including her continued desire to be accepted by the public.
‘There was constant pressure to speed up the process of their relationship to the altar. In the end, they were no longer on the same page and Marcus became more interested in enjoying his life as a young single adult than settling into a serious relationship.
‘Marcus remains single and insists that Larsa is a great woman and mother and wishes her the best in all her future endeavors.’
The star smiled as she looked at her phone during the day while smoking a cigarette.

Stevenson now appears to be distancing herself from her alleged lover after she was caught in shocking photos this week, and on Thursday took to Instagram to deny there was ever a romance between them.
Marcus has reportedly moved on with Ashley Stevenson – who bears a striking resemblance to her ex, as the two have been spotted hanging out and posing together in social media snaps and videos in recent weeks.
It first appeared on Marcus’ Instagram account last week as he documented his trip through the south of France.
But Ashley now appears to be distancing herself from her alleged lover after being caught in shocking photos this week.
The busty blonde took to Instagram on Thursday, the day after the pictures went viral, to deny there was ever a romance between them.
“I’m single… Marcus and I are NOT dating and have not been,” she said in an Instagram story.
Ashley and Marcus also reportedly unfollowed each other as of Friday.
Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa has moved on and is having a blast casually dating Netflix/MTV star and country musician Zay Wilson, 29.
And the Bravolebrity is reportedly “not worried” about Marcus’ recent fling with the curvy blonde Instagram model.
“Larsa is just hoping that Marcus wakes up and resolves their issues once and for all,” a source added.
‘Maybe this is the shock I needed to finally get help.’
Larsa opened up about the breakup in an interview earlier this year, where she shared a more diplomatic explanation for why she decided to close the door on the relationship for good.
In March, on Amy and TJ’s podcast on iheartRadio, she explained that she realized Marcus wasn’t her “guy” after spending time away from him, which gave her clarity about their relationship.
Larsa noted that she believes she and Marcus are on “different journeys” and that it is not age-related, despite the fact that she is 49 and he is 33.
Larsa said she was filming the reality show House of Villains on E! when she reflected on her on-again, off-again relationship.
Larsa and Marcus have stopped communicating and are reportedly no longer friends after they split for good earlier this year following attempts to reconcile.
Marcus is pictured with his father, NBA legend Michael Jordan, 61, who is worth an estimated $3.2 billion. His father previously admitted he did not approve of their romance.
Pippen has also been casually dating: She was photographed with Zay Wilson, 29, last month.
“You know, I feel like I’m just done. I just finished filming the show and I spent some time away from him and everyone else. I was there for two weeks and it kind of gave me clarity when I was alone,” she said on the podcast.
“And I think when you’re alone, you really miss the person or you realize that maybe you’re not my guy, and that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy.”
She continued: “I just think we’re on a different journey and I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing and what he’s doing.”
“I want him to be happy, he’s a great kid, but I feel like he’s not for me.”
Larsa was asked if she thinks age was a factor in their split: “I don’t think it’s age. It’s just where we are right now.”
‘Sometimes it’s hard to break up with a relationship because you’re so used to living with that person, we had our podcast together, we worked together, I had him on Housewives.’
The former couple began dating in 2022 and made headlines for both their 17-year age difference and their connection to the Chicago Bulls.
Their romance was a controversial topic since he was just seven years old when she married Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan’s teammate on the Chicago Bulls, where they won six NBA titles together.
In July 2023, Michael publicly revealed that he did not approve of his son dating Larsa.
