Jennifer Lopez has officially ended her marriage to Ben Affleck after the singer filed for divorce herself on Tuesday, the same day as the estranged couple’s second wedding anniversary.
The Atlas actress, 55, has been embroiled in split rumors with the Oscar winner, 52, and called off their marriage by filing paperwork without a lawyer.
Lopez and Affleck, who did not sign a prenuptial agreement, initially tied the knot during a Las Vegas wedding in July 2022 and held a larger, more lavish ceremony at their Georgia estate the following month.
The latest divorce will be Jennifer’s fourth and the second for Ben, who was previously married to actress Jennifer Garner.

However, after only 11 months of marriage, the couple divorced in January 1998.
The singer and Noa seemed to be on good terms after the split when she hired her ex to help run a Cuban restaurant she opened in Los Angeles, according to Harper’s Bazaar.
Six months later, he fired Ojani, prompting him to sue the star for breach of contract.
The court subsequently issued a permanent injunction prohibiting him from “criticizing, denigrating, negatively portraying or otherwise disparaging” Lopez.
Noa was sued by Jennifer in 2006 when he released a book based on their brief marriage, and three years later, she sent him a cease and desist letter to stop a mockumentary called How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story.
After the artist married Ben in July 2022 at a Las Vegas chapel, Ojani shared her thoughts on her fourth marriage while speaking to DailyMail.com.
“I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced the relationship will last,” he said at the time. “Jen loves being in love, but she’s been engaged six times. Ben is her fourth husband.”
“I was her number one husband and she told me I was the love of her life. When we laid in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever.”
