And the royals are no different, as adorable Savannah, 14, Princess Anne’s granddaughter, led the youngest cohort at Sandringham this year.
The teenager spoiled her relatives during the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk estate this week.
While King Charles led the royal gathering for a special annual mass, his great-niece was never far from the little ones.
Matching her aunt Zara Tindall, Savannah, who was Queen Elizabeth’s first great-granddaughter, looked smart and stylish in a burgundy coat as she smiled and chatted with her family members.
Photos from the outing showed the young woman smiling as she spoke to Charlotte, nine, and Lena Tindall, six, who looked at the teenager in awe and admiration.
Elsewhere Savannah could be seen laughing as she walked behind her cousin Mia Tindall, 10, playfully high-fiving her dad Mike.
She was also pictured walking helpfully alongside Wales’ sons George, 11, and Louis, six, on hand to provide support.
