Lily Allen became an amateur detective after suspecting her husband of cheating on her – and was left in ‘agony’ when she discovered the actor had a secret profile on celebrity dating app Raya, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
Pop star Allen, 39, played detective by joining the app herself, pretending to be “looking for women” and discovered that her husband, David Harbour, 49, had already created a dating profile. It was listed on the app as active for at least a month.
Raya is so exclusive that it only accepts about 8 percent of applicants, but it has more than 10,000 members, with 100,000 on the waiting list. Once users find a new partner, they typically deactivate their profile.
A source said: “Lily was looking at women who were on Raya and compared them to women David follows on Instagram to try and find out who he was dating.” I was doing the Wagatha thing.
Coleen, the wife of former English football star Wayne Rooney, was dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’ after she turned online detective to uncover fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy as the apparent leaker of stories about her.
Allen, 39, met Harbor on Raya in 2019 and the pair deleted their accounts after enjoying a whirlwind romance, before tying the knot in Las Vegas a year later.
A source told The Mail on Sunday night: ‘Lily only met up with Raya to try to find out if she was seeing anyone.
‘Lily has never looked at anyone since she met David. She is devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago. He was supposed to be vacationing with her in Kenya over Christmas.

Allen’s detective work on social media revealed that Harbor was in India last week and posed for a photo with a fan at the temple.
The singer has not made any public statements about her relationship with Harbor since it emerged they had split last month, but a friend of the Smile creator confirmed that they had officially ‘split’.
Harbour’s dating profile, revealed exclusively by MoS, reads: “Visiting New York from Atlanta” and “closet nerd who plays tough guys on your TV.”
His profile song is listed as Houses Of The Holy by Led Zeppelin.
Harbor describes himself as living in Atlanta, Georgia, 800 miles from the family home in Brooklyn, New York, where the couple moved in 2020, and Allen enrolled his children in local schools.
He bought a house in Atlanta last year so he could be closer to the set of Stranger Things.
The show is currently filming its fifth and final season. Allen’s circle of friends in London say she has believed since the fall that her husband is interested in other women.
When the couple broke up about a month ago, she was convinced he had a secret girlfriend.
A source said: “Lily believes he has been open to meeting new people for some time now, although she didn’t find out until late summer.”
At the time the photo was taken, Allen was on vacation in Kenya with his children.

Allen’s detective work on social media revealed that Harbor was in India last week and was reportedly seen with another woman at a temple in Rishikesh, in the foothills of the Himalayas, on Thursday. He and the woman were accompanied by a guide.
Harbor posed for a photo with a fan at the temple, although he was careful to ensure that his friend, described as “not blonde, very thin and between 22 and 30 years old”, did not appear in the frame.
One fan expressed surprise on social media after seeing Harbor in India, saying: “Stranger things happen.”
“Now I have the best story to share: that time I walked the sacred streets of Rishikesh with David Harbour, contemplating life.”
At the time, Allen was 3,000 miles away in Kenya, where she was spending the holidays without David and instead laying low with her children.
She missed a party with showbiz friends, including beauty entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury and singer James Blunt, on the popular resort island of Lamu.
A Lamu source said Allen resisted joining the celebrity party.
Rumors have circulated for months that Lily’s five-year romance with Harbor was on the rocks.
Allen has alluded to it in her hit podcast Miss Me? that children are also going through difficult times after their separation
Harbor has previously spoken of his pride in becoming a father figure to Allen’s children, Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11, from her first marriage to builder Sam Cooper. He has no children of his own.

The Mail on Sunday revealed last month that Allen had worried fans by admitting on Miss Me?: “I’m going through a bit of a tough time at the moment.” “But I’m trying to move on.”
On Thursday’s podcast episode, she revealed that she’s “ready to move on” and plans to spend January clearing her head.
A friend said: ‘The last few months have been absolute agony for Lily. He finally called it off a month ago and she is devastated.
A spokesman for Allen declined to comment. Harbor did not respond to requests for comment.
