Kyle Walker has said goodbye to Manchester City after leaving the club – and England – after joining AC Milan on loan in Italy.
The 34-year-old footballer decided last month to seek a new challenge after a difficult campaign with the Premier League champions.
However, the athlete has also dominated the headlines due to his paternity scandal with Lauryn Goodman after it was revealed in December 2023 that he had fathered a second child with the reality star.
After trying to fix his marriage to WAG Annie Kilner, 33, who shares four children with Kyle and was pregnant at the time Kyle’s infidelity was revealed, he filed for divorce.
However, the couple put up a united front this Christmas at the family home and are now reportedly looking forward to a new beginning in Italy, away from Lauryn forever.
An informant said the sun that Annie is making the decision for the children’s sake. They explained: ‘Getting away from the UK and the noise surrounding Kyle’s sex scandals is what they desperately need. They feel suffocated.
Kyle Walker hopes his move to Italy will FINALLY put the Lauryn Goodman sex scandal behind him after a ‘traumatic’ year for the footballer and his wife Annie Kilner.

The athlete has made headlines due to his paternity scandal with Lauryn after it was revealed in December 2023 that he had fathered a second child with the reality star.
“It’s been a traumatic 12 months and now they just want to put it behind them and try to live some sort of normal existence for a while.”
Despite the friendly display over Christmas, the source revealed that divorce is still on the cards, however, if they are together in Italy there is a better chance they can reconcile.
They added: ‘Kyle accepts that he takes his problems with him and will never escape what he has done. “This is an opportunity for him to have a break and for the couple to decide their next steps.”
MailOnline has contacted Kyle’s representatives for comment.
Lauryn called Annie in December 2023 to inform her that he was the father of her second child, Kinara, after having a son Kairo with Lauryn in 2019.
However, Kyle’s move to Italy has ruined Lauryn’s plans to move too after the star asked the footballer for permission to rent out her house in Sussex so she could move to Dubai with her two children.
Lauryn and the children currently reside in a £2.4 million Sussex mansion owned by Kyle which was purchased as part of his extravagant demands for child support contributions.
It is believed that Lauryn announced her desire to move to the Middle East because she assumed Kyle would move to a Saudi team and therefore be closer to him.
A friend of Annie and Kyle told MailOnline: ‘You have to wonder if Lauryn was planning to move to Dubai because she thought Kyle and Annie were also going to the Middle East. He has a way of convincing them, especially Annie, but it hasn’t worked because they have no intention of going there.

It wasn’t long ago that Lauryn went to Cheshire and posed as outside real estate agents to make Annie think she was moving there. She thinks Lauryn is a total liquidation trader and thinks that’s harassment.
This apparently isn’t the first time Lauryn has threatened to move to Dubai, as the source added: “There were times in the past when she felt like she was on the losing end and, fed up with everything, she said she was going to go there.”
And according to the sunLauryn contacted Kyle’s lawyers to ask about renting him out as she longs for a “change of scenery” after facing backlash amid her paternity scandal.
A source told the publication: ‘It’s been a turbulent time for Lauryn and she’s looking forward to a change of scenery, where she can focus on the kids. He loves the idea of temporarily living in a sunny place, like Dubai.
‘As Kyle owns the property, she has to ask his permission to rent it out. I would have to do it to be able to rent a property abroad.’
The source added: “She is no longer close to her family so feels she has no ties to the UK at the moment and loves taking her children abroad on holiday to get away from it all.”
On Friday, Kyle took to Instagram to post a farewell message to City and their fans as he prepares to start his new life abroad.

He wrote a message to his family, Manchester City and AC Milan when the move was confirmed.
‘Manchester City… where do I start? Signing for this incredible club in 2017 was a dream come true. Seven years later, winning 17 trophies, including the Champions League and the famous treble, is something I could only have dreamed of as a child.
“Playing alongside so many top players has pushed me to be the best version of myself and I am truly grateful for the opportunity I have had at the Etihad.
‘Many thanks to so many people, the coaching staff, the fitters and all the backroom staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes. You make every day enjoyable and give us the platform to perform at our best.
‘To my teammates, from the moment I walked through the door I felt at home. Thank you for the great memories and all the success we have shared together. You are friends, but also family for life.
“To Pep Guardiola, thank you for believing in me and working so hard to get me here in 2017. Together we have celebrated 17 trophies and your guidance has helped me become the player I am today. I will be forever grateful.
‘To Annie, our children and all my family who were there and supported me on this journey, thank you.
‘The most important thing is for the fans: thank you for accepting me as one of yours from day one. Your unwavering support, week after week, at home and away, will never be forgotten.
‘I wish you all continued success in the future. Thank you. Kyle.’
