At the peak of his career, Kevin Spacey was worth almost £60million with a property empire stretching across the US and London, but now the disgraced Hollywood actor is on the verge of bankruptcy due to his multi-million dollar legal fees.
Spacey broke down in tears while speaking to Piers Morgan Uncensored about what his life has been like after he was accused of indecent assault against four men in 2018.
The 64-year-old, who was cleared of nine charges of sexual assault last July, said he was “not quite sure where he was going to live” as his £4.7million home was sold at auction this week.
He also admitted to being “slick” and “crossing boundaries” when asked about his alleged bad behavior and said he had spoken to a “significant” number of men to personally apologize for his past behavior.
The House of Cards star was one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood until allegations of sexual misconduct were made in 2017.

He founded his own production company, Trigger Street Productions, in 1997 and won his second Oscar, this time for Best Actor, for 1999’s American Beauty.
It is estimated that at the absolute peak of his career in the early 2000s, Kevin could easily earn up to £7.5 million for starring in a major film and almost £4 million for a supporting role.
But his world has been turned upside down since he was accused of abusing his fame and power to carry out nine sexual attacks on four men during his tenure as artistic director of the Old Vic theatre.
When asked where he lives now and if he’ll file for bankruptcy, the former House of Cards star told Morgan, “This week, where I’ve been living in Baltimore, they’re being foreclosed on.”
‘My house is being sold at auction. I’m not really sure where I’m going to live now, but I’ve been in Baltimore since we started filming House of Cards there.
‘There have been a couple of times where I thought I was going to apply, but we’ve managed to dodge it, at least until today.
‘I still owe many legal bills that I have not been able to pay. Many millions, yes. The house itself is worth many millions.

Spacey has admitted to being “skillful” and “pushing boundaries” despite being acquitted of sexually assaulting four men last year.
The two-time Oscar-winning actor has defiantly vowed not to give up acting after being in “exile” for seven years (Spacey pictured in Los Angeles in 1996 after winning best supporting actor for his role in The Usual Suspects ).
Outside of the property, Spacey also owned a luxurious Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 560, worth at least £130,000.
The vehicle contained plush, heated leather seats and a powerful twin-turbo V8 engine that can go from zero to 60 mph in a staggering 4.5 seconds.
Spacey also earned praise for his role on the Netflix hit House of Cards from 2013 to 2017, a show on which he earned $20 million per season as an actor and executive producer.
Following sexual assault allegations against him, which Spacey insisted were “crazy,” the streaming giant cut ties with the actor entirely.

In February 2024, MRC agreed to forgive the debt in exchange for Spacey’s testimony on behalf of the production company in a separate $150 million lawsuit, which has not yet gone to trial.
Spacey is also likely to be tried again in early 2025 in the United Kingdom over a lawsuit brought by another man who claims the actor sexually assaulted him. Spacey has denied all allegations.
The trial was the result of Spacey’s lawyers successfully challenging a verdict against their client after the actor.
In a statement to Deadline news, Spacey said: ‘This is not a new lawsuit. As has been widely reported, it is the same lawsuit filed in 2022 by a whistleblower that was disbelieved by a jury of my peers in the 2023 criminal trial in the United Kingdom, in which I was acquitted.
