Justin Bieber was pushed back on stage by his wife Hailey, who is desperate for the world to see that he is “okay” in the wake of growing speculation about his health and his past relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The Believe singer joined Don Toliver, 30, on stage for a surprise appearance at the rapper’s concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Justin, also 30, made an impromptu appearance for Private Landing, Don’s 2023 song on which he appeared, but did not sing despite having a microphone in his hand the entire time.
Insiders say people close to the troubled singer were confused by the decision to put him on stage and feel it did little to allay growing concerns about him.
“It wasn’t Justin’s idea to go on stage,” a source told DailyMail.com exclusively. “Hailey has been pressuring Justin to come out and show that he’s okay, but this didn’t show it at all.

Justin, 30, made a surprise appearance on stage with Don Toliver to perform their 2023 song Private Landing, but he didn’t sing.
‘What people say about Justin is more important to Hailey than it is to Justin. Those who have worked with Justin think this did more harm than good.
‘He came on stage looking disheveled and unkempt and didn’t sing a single note. He didn’t even try to sing, which left everyone more confused as to what his purpose for being there was.’
Others allegedly questioned Hailey’s decision to attend the show with Steve Harvey’s daughter, Lori Harvey, 27, who reportedly dated Diddy, when she was 22 and he was 49.
Although the socialite denied dating the disgraced rapper, they were close and appeared together in public on multiple occasions.
“To top it off, Hailey brought Lori Harvey with her,” the source continued. ‘No one understands the reason for any of this. If he wanted to show that Justin was okay, he went out to dinner.
A second source added: “Hailey keeps telling Justin that he should do more and be the artist she knows he can be.” She loves him in that element.
“She wants to break out of his shell a little more and would love to see him get back into his career a little more once he starts next year.”
Fans have been fearing for Justin following Diddy’s arrest in Manhattan on September 16. The fallen tycoon has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
“Hailey has been pressuring Justin to come out and prove he’s okay, but this didn’t prove it at all,” a source told DailyMail.com (Hailey in concert photo).

Since then, more than 120 victims have accused him of sexual assault in civil filings. He denies all charges against him.
On Sunday, a new lawsuit accused Combs of drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 VMA after-party with two unnamed celebrities present.
Following Diddy’s arrest, disturbing videos resurfaced of the founder of Bad Boy Records and a young Justin on the cusp of stardom.
One video showed Diddy standing next to the 15-year-old pop sensation as he told the camera: “He’s spending 48 hours with Diddy, where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing, we can’t reveal.” But it’s definitely every 15-year-old’s dream.”
The hip hop star added: “I’ve been given custody of him. He signed Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he made his first album.
“I don’t have legal guardianship of him (Justin), but for the next forty-eight hours he will be with me and we will go crazy.”
In another resurfaced clip, the rapper grilled 16-year-old Justin about why he hadn’t talked to him as much.
‘What’s up man, are you okay? Sell stadiums and all that? Combs asked the young man.
Hailey reposted a photo with Justin via Instagram on Sunday, writing, ‘baby.’
‘Starting to act different, huh? You haven’t been calling me or hanging out like we used to hang out.
The pop star looked anxious as he responded to his musical colleague.
Justin was just a child when he forged a friendship with Diddy. He even appeared on the rapper’s song Moment, which appeared on his 2023 album The Love Album: Off the Grid.

Hailey sent a not-so-subtle message about the public outcry of concern for Justin when she shared a snap on Instagram of Justin giving the middle finger.
Sources at the time told DailyMail.com that she sees herself as Justin’s ‘guardian’, adding that the touching photo was ‘her way of showing the world how she feels about the whole situation (with Diddy), not Justin’.
The source noted that the Rhode Beauty founder’s choice of image was extremely revealing.
“Of the hundreds of photos of Justin giving the middle finger, she had to choose one from 2017 that was taken before he got back together with (his ex Selena Gomez),” they said.
The longtime couple married in 2018 and welcomed their first child in August (pictured in 2022).
It comes after sources previously told DailyMail.com that Justin feels like he has no one to talk to and is “navigating these waters alone.”
“Justin feels like there’s no one he can talk to who understands him, and to be honest, he doesn’t even fully understand it,” the source explained. “I was a child.”
Hailey and Justin married in 2018 and welcomed their first child, Jack, on August 22.
Becoming a father for the first time while going through the Diddy drama hasn’t been easy for the hitmaker.
“Justin is stressed at the moment,” a source told DailyMail.com. “Diddy couldn’t have happened at a worse time as he’s trying to experience the joy of being a father with the pain of having to deal with all of this.”
