An organized mom shared a genius way to wrap a Christmas present when you don’t have enough wrapping paper.
Melbourne mother of two Chantel Mila, who has gained a following of more than half a million people on TikTok, demonstrated the wrapping technique in her latest video.
Instead of wrapping the Apple MacBook Pro laptop horizontally or vertically, she tilted it and wrapped it diagonally.
The corners of the paper met in the center of the gift and Chantel was able to wrap the gift perfectly.

“Hack: Save paper when wrapping gifts,” she captioned the video, which has been viewed more than 35,000 times in 13 hours.
The unique packaging style not only saves you money by buying more paper, but the end result also looks elegant and professional.
On TikTok, one user said the video was “so satisfying” to watch, while another called the idea “very clever.”
Because no gift is complete without a bow, Chantel also revealed how to tie a Tiffany-style bow for festive gifts.
The key to the perfect ribbon is to cut it five times the length of the gift and wrap it over itself twice before tying the bow.
In another short TikTok video, she demonstrated the process by playing the elegant gold ribbon over the wrapped gift and tying it around horizontally.

In the middle she then folded a ribbon strand upwards creating a right angle and continued wrapping the ribbon vertically.
Then the long strand was tucked in the center under the crotch junction and secured with a gentle pull.
She then tied the bow and clipped the ends of the ribbon, creating a beautiful luxurious presentation.
The easy DIY is the perfect alternative to buying expensive decorative bows that often cost up to $8 each.
