  • Alysha Rose Goring, 26, from Caroline Springs has appeared in a court in Melbourne
  • Goring has been accused of falsely claiming that she had liver cancer in March 2018
  • She was accused in September 2018 of obtaining property through deception
  • The police have claimed to have cheated a family and friends of thousands of scams

A young woman who claimed to die from liver cancer sent shocking messages to her friends in an attempt to gain their sympathy and lift them out of thousands.

Alysha Rose Goring, from Melbourne, is accused of jerking off a & # 39; large & # 39; number of her friends and family while pretending to have the deadly disease between March and April last year.

The 26-year-old alleged compiled extensive stories to her friends and family, including having multiple abortions due to chemotherapy, A Current Affair reported.

& # 39; I have found out that I am pregnant and that I cannot keep it. I'm so against abortion, but the chemo causes the baby to get side effects, & read a message to a friend.

& # 39; They (doctors) found a clot in my brain and I had an attack yesterday and died but they brought me back. I'm fine, & # 39; read another message.

Monique Portelli, who fought with 3B Hodgkin's Lymphoma, was contacted by Goring and claimed that she was also fighting cancer.

The couple often told their stories about what they went through: their diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.

Portelli said she now feels she is being used for information.

She was one of many people who made a donation to fund the murdered life-saving treatment of Mrs. Goring in Texas.

However, Goring reportedly used the money on a foreign vacation to the United States, where she visited Universal Studios and the zoo.

& # 39; It makes me sick, thinking that I went there and donated to cancer research when I went through everything and she just took that money to travel & # 39 ;, Portelli said.

When friends started questioning her about her story, because it was not right, her lies began to unravel.

Mrs. Portelli said she became skeptical about Mrs. Goring when she started to grow normally again. She said that her chemotherapy patients tend to grow back into locks – while Mrs. Gorings grew back upright.

A friend told A Current Affair when they contacted hospitals where Mrs. Goring claimed she was being treated. They were told that there was no mention that Mrs. Goring was a patient.

The police claimed that Goring had approached the people closest to her.

& # 39; As a result, a large number of family, friends and employees have donated more than $ 9,000 through direct debit or cash donations & # 39 ;, said a police spokesperson.

In September last year, Mrs. Goring was accused of acquiring property through deception.

She appeared on Monday at the Sunshine Magistrate & # 39; s Court for a plea that was adjourned.

She will appear in court on July 3, where she is expected to be guilty.
