Alarm bells rang at NRL headquarters over the weekend after a major profanity was painted on a field before a game.
The sport’s governing body has demanded an explanation from a signer after a photograph taken inside Queensland Country Bank Stadium went viral.
The photo was taken while the signer was working on the surface before Sunday’s game between the Cowboys and Titans.
