She told Martel how a man had run into her up the slope after losing control of the slopes.
Writing for a Scottish newspaper courierMartel said, “Thank God no one was hurt. The guy who hit me came from up the ramp (with the bottom person who had the right-of-way), lost control and lunged at me.”
The scariest thing was hurtling him down a steep descent, but (his leg aside) all was well.

The experience: The TV presenter, 46, recalled the frightening experience in the wake of Gwyneth Paltrow’s trial over a skiing accident she was involved in in 2016
“Skiing conditions that afternoon were very difficult as the sun melted the snow and I think he lost control after his skis hit the sludge.”
The presenter added that the man apologized and checked that she was okay, which she appreciated.
Martel has been presenting Homes Under The Hammer since 2017 while previously working as a reporter on ITV’s Lorraine and The One Show on BBC.
It comes after Gwyneth won her four-year legal battle against retired ophthalmologist Terry Sanderson over a skiing accident in 2016.
Juries in Park City dramatically declared that she was not at fault in a 2016 accident that Sanderson says left him with four broken ribs and a permanent brain injury.
In the moments following the jury’s decision as she stood by, Paltrow was seen walking towards Sanderson and telling him, “I wish you well.”
Moments later, she released a statement via her Instagram Stories that said, “I felt acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity.
“I am pleased with the outcome and appreciate all the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and I appreciate their thoughtfulness in handling this case.”

On Thursday, a jury found Sanderson, 76, responsible for the accident at the upscale Utah ski resort seven years ago, after it took him two hours and 20 minutes to reach a verdict.
Paltrow, the 50-year-old founder of the Goop brand, has a net worth of $200 million and won an Oscar for her role in Shakespeare’s play In Love.
Her opponent Sanderson, 76, is a twice-divorced retired ophthalmologist from Utah whose net worth is unknown.
