HBO’s House of the Dragons finally found itself at the top of the streaming charts for the first time, during the week of July 8-14, a month before the Series 2 finale aired.

HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series racked up a whopping 1.27 billion minutes of viewing during that week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The numbers come after Nielsen reported that the week of July 1-7 was the largest in streaming history, with more than 313 billion minutes watched.

It was also the first time since streaming tracking began that the top 10 titles each surpassed 1 billion minutes of viewing.

The week of July 8-14 marked a bit of a dip, with the two top titles above House of the Dragon last week (Netflix’s Suits and Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F) both dropping significantly, allowing House of the Dragon to take the crown.
