House of Horrors survivor Jordan Turpin has revealed she has a new boyfriend, six years after being rescued from her abusive parents, who tortured and imprisoned her 13 children in a years-long ordeal.
The 23-year-old, from California, created a joint Instagram account with love interest Matt Ryan, where the pair have been relaxing in a series of clips and selfies.
The initial post had no caption, but she later confirmed that the duo were a couple after uploading a light-hearted video along with a caption that read: “My boyfriend guesses where my makeup products go on my face.” I hope you enjoy.

The new romance appears to mark a new beginning for Jordan, who candidly shared earlier this year that she had previously been stuck in a “bad, toxic relationship.”

‘It’s been a tough journey. “I’m fine now, but I come out strong all the time and I want people to know that they are not alone, that’s why I made this video,” he divulged.
Jordan then spoke: “I got stuck in a bad, toxic relationship. Only two of my sisters were there for me. I ended up in the hospital because my health was getting worse. I had to go to therapy to see why I kept going back to him and discovered it was trauma bonding.

Police came to investigate and arrested his parents, who last year pleaded guilty to several felonies and were sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 25 years.
Following the arrests in January 2018, horrific details began to emerge about the extent of the torture, abuse and neglect the children suffered: beatings, starvation, chaining to beds and denial of basic hygiene.
Agents testified that the children said they were only allowed to shower once a year.
They were kept mainly in their rooms, except for meals, which had been reduced from three to one a day, a combination of lunch and dinner.

For years, the brothers’ diet consisted of only two slices of bread with peanut butter or bologna. The couple was also accused of teasing their children with cakes and other foods they were forbidden to eat.
Turpin’s parents ate fast food in front of them and chained the children to dirty beds if they tried to steal food.
“They still can’t look at peanut butter or bologna,” Deputy District Attorney Kevin Beecham told People magazine last year.
Turpin’s children were not allowed to play like normal children and were deprived of everything other children had, including toys and games.
Since they were rescued, some of the children have said that the social services system that was supposed to help them transition to a new life did not do what it was supposed to do.
Riverside County hired a private law firm to investigate allegations that the Turpin family’s seven adults and six minor children did not get the basic services they needed after being released from their parents’ prison-like home, it said. ABCNews.
A conservatorship, like the one Britney Spears was previously freed from, reportedly prevents even the adult Turpins from accessing some $600,000 in donated funds, leaving them living in squalor and on the streets.
There is also a criminal investigation into a foster family suspected of mistreating several children, including one of the Turpins, ABC reported. A lawyer for that family previously denied the allegations.
Some of the children reported that they “felt betrayed” by local officials’ handling of their cases, said Melissa Donaldson, director of Riverside County victim services.
