The two women were caught on camera with the victim the night he was killed

Two Las Vegas cousins who lured a man to a hotel room for a threesome before robbing and killing him have been jailed for up to 25 years.

On May 17, 2023, Bryan Altamirano-Solano, 25, went to a hotel room with Arionna Taylor, 22, as well as Taylor’s cousin Erika Covington, 21, and never returned.

Detectives later recovered two explicit videos from Altamirano-Solano’s phone that showed sex acts involving the women. They were accused of taking him to the hotel room under promises of a trio before killing and robbing him.

The pair were sentenced in court on Thursday. Covington shared her regret at the bloody murder, but Covington remained silent.

Their crimes were exposed about eight hours after haunting footage showed a laughing Altamirano-Solano taking the couple to his room.

When he didn’t check out, a housekeeper went up to check on him and was met with a disturbing scene. He was found with a single gunshot wound to the chest.

The police started an investigation into his murder. Security camera footage captured the two women walking with Altamirano-Solano at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip.

They were seen laughing arm in arm, but were captured on video walking out of the room 15 minutes later.

The surveillance footage and a slug found in the victim’s room was linked to another crime involving Taylor investigators with the suspects.

The women initially pleaded guilty to the crimes, but accepted a plea deal for second-degree murder in November.

On Thursday, Judge Tierra Jones accepted the terms of the plea deal. The women are set to serve 10 to 25 years in prison.

Prosecutors or police could never determine who pulled the trigger, but Nevada law allows anyone involved in a murder to serve time for it, not just the person who committed the heinous act.

The women were given the opportunity to speak in court and apologize for their heinous actions, which Taylor declined.

However, Covington chose to speak to Altamirano-Solano’s family, telling them, “I would like to send my condolences to Brian’s family.”

“I deeply apologize for the grief and pain brought to your family.” ‘

The victim’s father, Victor Altamirano, was present in court asking for justice to be served in his son’s gruesome death.

“It wasn’t enough just to take his belongings, they had to kill him,” he added. Altamirano-Solano’s mother joined the hearing online from outside the country.

“The pain I felt was so deep,” Nelly Altamirano said. ‘I felt like I just lost my life. I had so many questions. Why? Why my son? ‘

Authorities initially linked Covington and Taylor to the murder by matching surveillance footage with their social media profiles.

The two women are cousins and Taylor tagged Covington in a post on Instagram.

The post depicted the two women in the same outfits they had in the surveillance footage.

When investigators approached the women about the crime, Covington initially said they met Altamirano-Solano in the valet but did not communicate due to the language barrier.

Taylor claimed she experienced amnesia from a car accident and could not remember what happened the night of Altamirano-Solano’s death.

After authorities found the footage of the two women walking away, they discovered a video of the couple getting into a stolen car and leaving the scene.

They also noticed that the bag wrapped around Altamirano-Solano’s shoulder in the first video was the same one the girls were seen walking away with after he entered his hotel room.

Another woman not involved in the crime had booked the room and told investigators she met Altamirano-Solano on a texting app a week earlier.

They had arranged to have sex, but she left the hotel before meeting the women.

He was a native of Nicaragua and was in the US seeking asylum before he was brutally murdered in a Las Vegas hotel room.
