A Baltimore Ravens fan let out his frustrations in front of the world during Thursday Night Football, when a failed attempt against the Cincinnati Bengals led to choice words being picked up on a hot microphone.
It appears that the fan was unaware that Prime Video cameras were on him, but the unidentified man’s voice was clearly captured.
The phrase uttered on live television occurred early in the third quarter, before Baltimore rallied to defeat Cincinnati 35-34.
‘What are you doing? Come on guys, you look like idiots here!’ said the fan.
Prime Video commentators Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit heard what the fan said through their headphones and both chuckled.
This Baltimore Ravens fan was unhappy with the team after a botched play on third down
The fan’s insult made it onto live television and commentators laughed after hearing it.
After the insult was broadcast live on television, the Ravens scored the next three touchdowns in the game and never trailed after the end of that trio of scores.
It was by no means an excellent performance by Baltimore, as evidenced by the score of seven points in the first 40 minutes of the game.
Four touchdowns in the final 20 minutes of the game satisfied even the most critical Ravens fan.
The man was not seen on camera again after the curse. He likely cheered loudly for the team’s comeback after showing his passion for the worst parts of Thursday’s game.
The Ravens are now three games ahead of the Bengals in the AFC North standings at 7-3.
Cincinnati, at 4-6, now has a small margin of error to return to the playoff picture.
