The horse trainer at the center of the scandalous affair with former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp has posted a humiliating message to his partner, Karli Postel, saying he loves her just days after his infidelity made headlines.
On Wednesday, DailyMail.com revealed that Mellencamp had been having a months-long affair with German horse trainer Simon Schröeder behind her two partners’ backs.
To make matters worse, the couple was even together in Florida while Postel she was giving birth to her second child with Schröeder in California, and Mellencamp’s husband of 13 years, Edwin Arroyave, had no idea.
Now, it looks like Schröeder is trying to get Postel back into his good graces, as he took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday night to post a photo of the two smiling side by side.
“I love you Karli,” the horse trainer wrote in white cursive over the photo.
He even went so far as to tag Postel in the story.
And, just a few hours later, the image had already reached the Bravo Real Housewives Reddit Pagewhere many fans couldn’t believe their eyes.
“If there’s one thing men have, it’s pure audacity,” one person wrote.

Earlier this week, a source divulged the dirty details of the affair to DailyMail.com, explaining that the pair were already caught once and vowing it “wouldn’t happen again.”
The news comes after Mellencamp filed for divorce earlier this month.
“Karli thought it was suspicious that her husband was in Florida when she was giving birth,” the source told DailyMail.com.
