Horror: Two women attacked by dogs in Perth park before one is rescued by Uber driver

A woman who was attacked by two large dogs in a terrifying daylight attack has recalled how she feared for her life during the terrifying ordeal.

Helen Mato was at John Moloney Park in Marangaroo, north of Perth, on Tuesday morning when the off-leash dogs approached her.

Ms Mato feared for her life as she struggled to get away from the dogs’ brute force.

She is known to be one of at least two women who have been attacked by dogs in the park.

“One of them grabbed my leg and another one grabbed my groin. I fell down and I was screaming for help, screaming, and that car passed right next to me,” Mato said. 7 News.

The driver behind the wheel was an Uber driver, who immediately stopped when he realized what was happening.

The driver ran to help Ms Mato and helped the mother into the car, but the dogs continued to chase her.

“They were attacking the Uber driver’s car, but I don’t know where they went after that,” Mato said.

Mrs. Mato was left physically and mentally scarred by this terrible experience.

Nearby residents who were home at the time heard the heartbreaking sounds of someone screaming and yelling while dogs barked.

“It sounded really bad,” Jennie recalled.

The latest incident comes after a woman in her 20s was rushed to the Joondalup Health Campus following a separate attack in the same park.

The woman received several bites and is currently in stable condition.

The dogs remain on the loose, raising fears in the community that they could attack again.

Wanneroo City Council has launched investigations into the incident involving Ms Mato.

“Wanneroo City Rangers are investigating the incident and gathering all relevant evidence as part of the investigative process to determine next steps,” a spokesman said.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted the council for further comment.
