Horror in Manhattan when a schoolboy is shot in the head and killed in broad daylight by an attacker who “fled on a Citibike”

A teenager was shot in the head Tuesday in midtown Manhattan.

A suspect fled on a Citibike after the shooting, which occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to the New York Post.

The teenager, about 16 years old, was rushed to the hospital, where he died, according to ABC News.

Law enforcement sources told police the Soho shooting could have been “school related.”
