A woman died after emergency services found her on a staircase with burns on her body.
Emergency services found the woman, 44, about 3pm on Monday after being called to a unit complex on Vicliffe Ave in Campsie, in Sydney’s southwest.
After being treated for burns at the scene, the woman was transported to Concord Hospital, where she died later that day.
The woman has not yet been formally identified.
Campsie Police Area Command has established a crime scene and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
