A United Airlines flight bound for Boston was diverted mid-air due to a “biohazard” issue involving the crew.
United Airlines Flight 2477 departed Houston at 9:39 a.m. CT bound for Boston, but was forced to re-route when the crew became ill.
The plane, a Boeing 737-800, was diverted to Washington Dulles International Airport, and landed at 1:36 p.m. ET, according to Flight reported.
“Especially with this type of biological risk, I think we need to ground this plane as soon as possible,” a doctor on board told air traffic control in an audio shared on X.

“The crew is vomiting and the passengers around them are asking for masks, etc.”
