A 12-year-old boy has had to fight for his life after being hit by a car on a popular tourist route ahead of the long Easter weekend.
The boy was hit by a Toyota Prado on Caves Road in Marybrook, in Western Australia’s south-west region, about 5.40pm on Thursday.
It is understood the boy may have been running across the road.
The 12-year-old boy was airlifted to Perth Children’s Hospital suffering serious injuries and his condition was critical.
