A man died in a horrific workplace accident at a local business after a pallet jack fell on him.
The accident occurred at the business on South Road, Croydon Park, in Adelaide’s north, on Friday at 7.30am
The man was using the machine when he suddenly fell backwards before the pallet truck fell on top of him and then crushed him.
Emergency services were called to the scene, but the 62-year-old man, from the nearby suburb of Parafield Gardens, could not be saved.
Previously, apprentices from a business next door had rushed to help remove the machine from the man while paramedics arrived, it was reported. 7 news.

Safe Work SA officers are at the workplace and are investigating the incident alongside South Australian Police officers.
