A mother was caught on video ‘repeatedly hitting’ her three-year-old daughter with a clothes hanger while threatening to ‘eliminate’ her.
Aaliyah Shantrelle Herring, 25, of Miami Gardens, Florida, now faces two charges related to child abuse and was arrested Monday.
The alleged incident occurred while Herring was on Facetime with her ex-partner, David Jones, who is the child’s father.
The conversation quickly turned violent, prompting Mr Jones to begin recording the video call screen.
In the creepy clip, the mother, who appears to be holding a clothes hanger, can be heard saying: “Since you don’t want to manipulate your own child, guess what?”
“I’ll delete it myself, what do you think?”

At one point she says, “You still won’t shut up? Okay, you’re going to watch me kill your son, what do you think?”
Miami Gardens police said the video showed a woman “repeatedly hitting a small child.”
Herring allegedly used a clothes hanger to spank the boy, a torturous method seen in the 1981 film Mommie Dearest.
An arrest report shows Herring said he was “discipling” the boy for throwing a TV remote at him, Local 10 reported.
She later claimed that the video was created using artificial intelligence by her ex-partner and that the woman in the video was not her.
Herring was being held at Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on $7,500 bail as of Tuesday afternoon.
Herring appeared angry on the call as she and her ex-partner argued over child care.
Mommie Dearest is a physiological drama that portrays Academy Award-winning actress Joan Crawford as a cruel, unbalanced, alcoholic mother.
It was originally an autobiography written by her daughter Christina Crawford, but was later made into a film of the same name.
One scene shows the mother taking her daughter’s clothes out of the closet and hitting them with a hanger.
