Terrifying footage captured the moment a reveler was thrown to the ground and left unconscious in the mosh pit of a packed concert.
The clip was filmed by a spectator at American rapper Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus tour at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Thursday, October 17.
In the video, Scott had already taken the stage when a group of men standing in the back of the general admissions area appeared to become agitated.
A shirtless man strangled another concert-goer before violently throwing him to the ground.
“Knock him out,” one person shouted.
“Wow, World Star,” said a second, referring to a news site famous for its wrestling videos.
The victim lay motionless as other concerned attendees came to his aid.
NSW Police and NSW Ambulance told Daily Mail Australia that neither department was aware of any incident during Thursday’s show.
The incident took place in the back of the general admissions area and mosh pit and was filmed by a passerby.
Social media users criticized the fact that rap concerts no longer appear to be safe.
“This is the downside of all this pit machismo,” one person wrote.
‘The worst part about going to rap shows nowadays. I hope the friend is well,” added another.
“People don’t really know how to act, that’s why we can’t have nice things,” wrote a third.
A person who was at the same concert where the alleged incident occurred said they were also in the mosh pit and that things had gotten scary at times.
“I was at the barricade and people were acting absolutely crazy. In fact, at some points I was scared, like I was a pretty small person and I was CHOKING. This is very sad and scary,” they wrote.
Others who attended Scott’s second concert in Sydney on Friday night echoed the experience.
‘I was also on a barricade and (was) doing my best not to crush the two really short girls next to me. It was crazy on the front,” one person said.
“I was on night two and I think one of the guys calling himself the mosh pit creator had his front teeth knocked out,” a second wrote.
‘These things are very dangerous. I really feel sorry for the girls that were there.
Scott was in Sydney for two nights promoting his latest album and will tour the east coast next week.
Scott’s concerts have gained a notorious reputation since nine people were crushed to death by the crowd at his Astroworld Festival in November 2021.
He still has two concerts scheduled in Melbourne on Tuesday and Wednesday, to be followed by a final show in Brisbane on Saturday.

The county medical examiner said the deaths were caused by compression asphyxiation, meaning people had suffocated in the crowd packed into the mosh pit.
Scott was cleared of any wrongdoing and the deaths were ruled an accident.
