This is the horrifying moment a horse thrashed around while being dumped with hot water at a car wash – and the Polish owner now faces three years behind bars.
Bizarre CCTV footage of the shocking incident shows the 43-year-old man arriving at the car wash in the town of Maków Mazowiecki, Poland, in a horse-drawn carriage.
He is then seen taking a high-pressure hose and cruelly spraying the distressed animal with hot water while a companion holds his reins.
As the horse flails, at one point the horse falls to the ground before rising on its hind legs and kicking a dividing wall.
Police have since launched an investigation and tracked the man to the nearby town of Malech.
Now he faces three years in prison for possible animal abuse, after trying to clean the animal with the vehicle’s washing machine.
The manager of a gas station near the car wash later told local media: “I see a lot of people coming and going, but this is the first time something like this has happened here.”
“I’m shocked by what I saw.”

Social media has since been flooded with outraged viewers after footage of the incident was posted online.
One viewer said: ‘This behavior is absolutely unacceptable!
“It is not only a manifestation of absolute ignorance, but also a clear example of cruelty.”
Another said: ‘This bestiality will soon cause a sensation and the perpetrators will receive the punishment they deserve.
“I hope the people who took the photo report took the trouble to notify the police.”
Another got angry: “That’s why idiots shouldn’t have animals of any kind, toughen the law, draw consequences for their stupidity.”
Police spokesperson Monika Winnik said: “Police received a report of property destruction at a car wash by a frightened horse, whose driver washed it with a pressure washer and drove away.
“The horse destroyed the hooks holding the dividing walls in the car wash.”
He added: “This behavior was very irresponsible. A car wash is not a place to clean a horse.
‘It also posed a danger to other people using the facilities.
“We are collecting evidence and collaborating with the district veterinarian.”
“Further investigations are underway.”
